My Motto

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...'Wow! What a ride!'" author unknown

PID Keith Gates

Dr. Keith Gates Memorial from the International Convention in Sydney 2010

At the International Convention PID Keith Gates was honored. I appreciated the brief friendship that he and I had. Sitting at the a table with him one day I asked him to tell me about his wife who had passed. It was a very tender story of love, respect and service.

PID Keith Gates and DG Carl Page won cowboy hats a the midwinter that the Saint George Lions sponsored. Two unlikely Cowboys

Bountiful 24th of July Parade

All of my grandkids wanted to ride in the parade on the float for the Bountiful Lions Club. My Daughters found these lion shirts and bought them for the kids. The kids were so good! They had to wait in line for 3 hours before they even started the parade. We were float 126 out of 128. They threw $500.00 worth of candy. The Bountiful Lions had fun teaching them our cheer. What a fun night!

Sight First ll

Grandpa Carl Was the President of the Bountiful Lions Club from 2006-2007. His grandkids call him the Lion King. The Lions do a lot of really neat things in their organization they have a project called Sight First II and for every $6.00 dollars donated they will save someone from a life of blindness. This collection can is for the Lions to take home to put their spare change in. I love helping my Grandpa, every time I go over to his house I put money in the can. Even though I'm a young boy, I want to help too. I love you Grandpa.
